We’re looking for a contract production artist who is able to make scientific and clinical information accessible, readable, and beautiful. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for design and be capable of executing more intense, detail-oriented graphic work. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can meet deadlines and communicate well with the internal team.
Let’s get down to the details of what you’ll actually be doing. You’ll be preparing, packaging, and sending files to internal team members. As much as 70% of your time will be spent in InDesign flowing content into existing templates and performing format checks. You’d also be tasked with reviewing and approving print ready files. At times you may be asked to apply brand standards and develop graphs, charts, and diagrams. You’ll utilize style sheets and sometimes identify or recommend graphics (stock photography, illustrations, infographics, icons, etc). Ensuring your work is complete and accurate will be a top priority. Communicating and collaborating with team members will be instrumental to your success and the success of your projects.
